Our cabin sits at the back of the campground, close enough to hear Taft Creek overnight and far enough from the road to forget it exists. It's a simple place — wood floors, a small kitchen, a wood stove for cool nights — but it's yours.

No television. No Wi-Fi. Just a porch with a view of the tree line and a bed that doesn't creak because it's too old, but because it's been there through a few thousand nights of good sleep.
